About Gnüm

Gnüm was born during a simple dog walk—one of those moments when inspiration strikes unexpectedly.

Hi I'm Daniel Owen, a designer by day, bringing stories to life at Disney and Netflix. The idea came while walking my dogs Mojo and Kiki : what if gnomes could be stylish?

Not the kitschy lawn ornaments you see everywhere, but premium, bold, character-driven pieces that feel fresh and modern. Gnomes with personality. Gnomes with modern lore.

That spark became Gnüm—a collection of collectibles that celebrate these iconic characters in a whole new way. Every design is crafted with the same attention to detail and storytelling honed over my career, but with a personal twist.

And why Gnüm the name? Well i wanted to keep hold of all of this sweat equity and personal money i'd spent and secure a trademark. This made up word alludes to 'gnome' and its European roots but apparently, also means cranky little man in Korean!

Welcome to the world of Gnüm. It's bold. It's premium. It's a little absurd.

And it all started with a walk in the woods.
